While the app’s selections are mostly free to download, know that there are a couple of wallpapers that are only available for Pro users, which come with a price. Have you always wanted your Android phone’s screen to have round corners? Well, you should certainly look no further than the aptly named app, Round Corners. In fact, its direct no-nonsense name actually speaks volumes about the truly convenient way in which it fulfills its primary purpose: giving your smartphone’s screen the round corners that actually fits its innate interior and exterior design.
However, the app actually goes even further than fulfilling the said function. This is because it also offers plenty of customization options. For one, it actually lets you choose from a variety of designs to incorporate into your Android phone’s screen.
So, in essence, it’s really not appropriate to assume that it only makes your screen’s edges round. The designs range from simple geometric lines to more intricate ones that also have their own unique colors and general aesthetics. It includes up to 40 of these designs so you’d certainly have something that would suit your particular taste and preference.
Much like other apps with a similar capability, Round Corners also lets you change the size of the curvature of the 4 corners of your screen. It also lets you adjust the opacity of the design of your choosing. All of these can be set with a convenient slider as well. Interestingly, the app also lets you choose the corners that you want to apply your chosen design on. You only need to slide left or right to enable it for the top and bottom corners of your screen.
The app also allows you to change your corners while you are using a specific app (again, you can disable or enable it with a slider). And, you also have the option to apply it on Below the Status Bar and Above the Navigation Bar. Almost any kind of app that you have installed is supported by Round Corners.
If we are going to compare it to other personalization apps of its kind, Round Corners certainly stands out with its unique choices of phone screen edge designs for its users. The ability to choose the specific corners that you want to customize is another stand-out feature, which really serves to highlight the uniqueness of the app as a whole. The support that it offers for other apps is also something that is worth highlighting and really serves to make its versatility stand out. Lastly, take note that the app requires accessibility permissions in order for all its features to take effect.

Have you ever looked at your home screen picture and thought….that has been the same forever? It has become easier than ever to change just about anything you want in android. Changing your wallpaper while not difficult just plain gets forgotten. The fix, automatic wallpaper changers!
A new app that has come out that makes this less tricky and lets me be in control of the images on my background is CLARO. Lets go through some of the options we get, as well as a gallery of pictures from the into in the app.
With CLARO I pick the content from the gallery on my phone and tell the app:
There are also action settings that include:
There are some ads the pop up when you are setting things up, but they are not terrible; users do not spend much time setting things up most and do not see them very often. A Heads up, though, as the developer’s first language is not English so some of the menus and wording in other places in the app are not quite what you might expect.
The developer claims this app is different because the service in CLARO only runs when it is scheduled to change the wallpaper whereas other “live” wallpaper apps run the service all the time draining the battery and using CPU. According to the developer, this has a benefit over using services like Muzei Live Wallpaper and its various tie-ins. I am not sure how to verify this without digging deep into the Android system but what I can say is I have not noticed any CPU, memory, or battery performance slow downs since installing this app.
Thus far, CLARO seems to be a solid alternative for me and allows me to be in control of the wallpaper will still having it change automatically.
Its allows creating shortcut with variety of unique options like:
1. Custom shapes for the shortcuts. Unique option that allows creating shortcut icons with heart, Ace, apple shapes.2. Icon packs supports, all Nova, apex, Adw, Aviate, Go, Start launcher icon packs supported, choose any icon from these icon packs for Creating shortcut.
3. You can create app shortcuts using images from gallery.
4. Rename the shortcut name.
5. Search Apps & Favorite Apps options allows quick and fast finding of your apps you want to lunch.
6. Create shortcuts for any activities, There are internal activities in the apps, you can browse through them and can create shortcut of theses activities too,
You can add pretty much any and all application screens. For example, the stock Clock app does not allow for shortcuts directly to the Alarms page by default, however using App Shortcut Maker, you can add that as a shortcut to your home screen without a problem.
You can also use App Shortcut Maker for searching the app which you want to launch.
if you know the name of the app, App Shortcut maker will help you finding the app.

The reason I like Android OS so much, is the freedom it provides. I believe that’s the case with many Android users, you can basically make the phone extremely productive, all you have to do is organize it properly with the right applications. There are tons of productivity apps available in the Google Play Store, and in combination with apps from some other categories you can really make your smartphone / tablet extremely functional, and that is something I truly appreciate.
That being said, we’re here to take a look at an app I stumbled upon quite recently, it’s called ‘Diesel: The Most Used Apps’. Now, I’ve installed this app on my smartphone for the purposes of this article, and I have to say I’m impressed. The app’s design is spot on, even though you won’t spend that much time inside the app itself… oh, and the performance is also above smooth, which explains the 4.6 rating in the Google Play Store. So, what is the purpose of Diesel? Well, the app’s full name actually reveals part of the story, but this app will essentially put your most used / recently used apps in the notification tray. This is not the first application to do this though, I’ve actually stumbled upon tons of such apps over the years, but Diesel is a really polished product which offers quite a few customizability options in settings. Putting apps, well, app shortcuts, in the notification tray, will give you easy access to them whatever you’re currently doing on your phone.
As already mentioned, there are various settings available in options of this app, you can, for example, blacklist unwanted apps, use themes, look at usage statistics, and the app even supports icon packs from different launchers. These are just some options I’ve listed, there are plenty more in the app itself. Now, Diesel really has lots to offer, presuming you don’t mind your notification tray to be somewhat more cluttered than usual, the tradeoff might be worth it. If you take a look at the embedded video or gallery down below, you’ll get to see the app itself, just in case you need more info before you hit the Google Play banner and install this application on your device.
